For 15 years, Dan Casey, has been teaching investors over the age of 55 how to preserve their assets, increase their earnings, and reduce income taxes. His holistic approach looks at everything in a person’s life that may affect their retirement years.

Through this work, Dan has developed a special understanding of the needs of widows. He now specializes in helping widows maintain enough money throughout their lives, protect and enhance their independence, and achieve their goals. Through his process, The Vision Confidence Program™ , he has helped many widows deal, heal, and live.

To enhance the holistic nature of his program Dan and his wife Nina, a family practice physician, are working to develop a network to bring seniors together who would like to make new friends. Dan is also a member of The Macomb County Council of Aging, and The Alzheimer’s Association.

Dan is a well-respected financial educator, who has taught at Macomb College and volunteered at Macomb Community Library. His retirement presentations have been widely attended by retirees of AT&T, General Motors, and IBM.

He has been mentioned in The Detroit News, The Macomb Daily, and is considered an ‘ expert in financial planning for seniors ’ according to The Detroit Free Press. He was also recently quoted in the nationally recognized website Bankrate.com. Dan is is a frequent commentator on many radio shows. In addition, Dan produced and hosted WADL’s “Senior Finances”, metro Detroit’s first television program dedicated to personal finance for investors over 55. The show made its debut on April 24, 2003.

Dan’s educational booklets include Annuity Owner Mistakes, mentioned in the Detroit Free Press, Avoid Mistakes in Buying Long Term Care Insurance, and IRA Distribution Mistakes and How To Avoid Them, mentioned in The Detroit News and Mirror Newspapers. He also has been published in Senior Living News and Quality Lifestyle Magazine.

He attained his undergraduate degree in Economics at Oakland University and his graduate degree in Finance from Walsh. He is one of 13,000 Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) in the U.S. Dan lives in Chesterfield, Michigan with his wife Nina and two children, Sean age 3, and Jade, 1 year.
